Venture worked with vehicle maintenance and repair company Marshall Fleet Solutions, at their depots in Garforth and Salford, to reduce its energy consumption and increase performance.
Over 50 of Venture’s 150w high-bay luminaires were used across the two sites, as an upgrade to existing 400w metal halide lamps.
Venture’s high-bays were chosen because of their competitive price and the client is expected to save 66 per cent, over £7,000 annually, per year in energy costs and reduce its carbon footprint.
Design and specification came from Luminous Solutions, a partner of Venture, with installation from contractors GWR Electrical and Data Comms.
The beam was set to an average lux level of 300, in line with the latest regulations of work places and requirements for vehicle servicing, repair and inspection.
The high-bays can last for up to 50,000 hours, lowering the cost of maintenance and disruption to operations that regular checks and replacements can present.
The luminaire comes with a 120 degree beam angle as standard and can be adapted using 60, 70 and 90 degree reflector accessories.
Venture’s Highbay Pro product is IP65 rated with a polycarbonate lens, durable aluminium casing and cold forged sink technology to dissolve heat effectively.
