Interface are global giants for modular flooring solutions and their latest product has the lowest carbon footprint yet.

The world’s largest manufacturer in their field have bases far and wide, including the UK, with a distribution network that has proved to be second to none.

The company’s multi-million turnover for last year and hopes for the future take into account their Circuit Bac Green and Luxury Vinyl Tile products.

Circuit Bac Green is a high-performance modular carpet tile backing that has been created using a mix of carbon negative bio-plastics and mineral filler.

Interface reckon it’s their most sizeable innovation in years and the bio-plastics used are the first carbon negative alternative to backing materials.

But it’s the composite material used that is most environmentally friendly, with less than half of the carbon footprint of a typical interface product.

The first of its kind, Interface believe the Circuit Bac Green will be a pioneer of products that are better for the earth.

Their luxury vinyl tiles are also a first, a maiden collection of such goods for Interface, but are proving to be a huge seller.

They can be used to create a mix of hard and soft surfaces in one space and can be combined with existing carpets.

The Level Set range join up with the brand’s modular carpet tiles to create different patterns, which suits open-plan interiors in homes, offices and other commercial spaces.

The vinyl tiles come in a variety of colours and pattern types, including wood and stone, and are fully compatible in size and height.

They come in two sizes, as square tiles or as long and narrow planks, and can be fitted without transition strips for easy-care flooring from edge to edge.

The LVT are installed with glue-free Tac Tiles. They emit volatile organic compounds that are 90 per cent lower than installation with glue adhesives.

These products are available in the UK. For more information, go to or call 01274 690 690.
