They were Supplier of the Year for 2017 with both the IBA and AWEBB Buying Group and have previously been Best Product at the Electrical Wholesaler Awards in 2006.
They have built up over 25 years experience, from 1992, in the design and infrastructure of high quality luminaires for domestic, commercial, industrial and architectural use.
Projects on site using their products give them a chance to showcase their skills and solutions, for a range of different functions.
High-end automotive dealers understand the mood of lighting can play its part in the shopping experience with Ocean MINI in Falmouth, Cornwall, a good example.
Ansell were enlisted to light up the new showroom, the brief to achieve maximum performance with minimal energy consumption.
MINI’s motto is to create a showroom experience, in an all-black area that reflects the brand, who are owned by BMW.
A dark colour will rely heavily on lighting and Lux levels are also important, as it can have a direct effect on a visitor’s mood.
Ansell installed Unity 150 LED dimmable downlights to meet this criteria, with die-cast aluminium constructions and anti-glare diffuser for visual comfort.
Reducing energy costs was another target and the Unity 150 offers substantial savings, measured at 58 per cent, compared to a 2 x 42W PLC equivalent.
The product’s LED function brings out bright colours and textures with a CRI of 80, which Falmouth MINI have found perfect for them.
Ansell products have also played their part in an award-winning display, with over 50,000 visitors seeing their work at last year’s Southport Flower Show.
LED lights were installed around the garden, which was created by Kirman Landscapes on behalf of C & W Berry.
The UK’s largest independent flower display went to collect five accolades, with Ansell contributing to and complimenting the show.
Their illumination to had to be suitably lit and performance was achieved with a combination of Meteor adjustable LED spotlights.
The product can be submerged to a depth of up to three metres and did so to highlight the centre point of the garden, also sending a beam onto an olive tree.
The display was topped off by Flora and Mirage LED spike lights, which were used all around the garden.
Ansell continue to deliver on their promise to make high-end LED products for lighting solutions, whatever the situation may be. Further plaudits and growth may be in their future.
