Stableford’s Handmade Lamps in NW3 Interiors’ Century Court Project

In the luxury interiors medium of London, creator of bespoke designs and hand-made to order lighting, Stableford’s and interior designer Carly Madhvani met in this unique project, in the search for unique quality and richness of the details.

In terms of textures, there are not many companies that master with the techniques of diverse of materials as Stableford’s do. They work with wood, metals, resin and acrylic to name but a few. The finishes include, among many others, gold, copper, silver and platinum; the wooden essences range from scorched fired ash to wenge and the patina – from verdigris or rust.

Either suggesting new collections to blend with your existing style or making a mood-board, Carly can quickly see where to add texture and detail to make your home feel relaxed and look interesting. And the unique Stableford’s collection provided, in this project, the richness and diversity of textures and details the designer was looking for.

Century Court Project

This is a unique point of view – from the eyes of the designer. Carly Madhvani is an associate of British Institute of Interior Design and has assisted many residents to choose statement furniture, decoration, rugs and lighting and has been appointed to create entire design schemes. Her studio NW3 Interiors transformed a dated top floor apartment to a modern turn-key masterpiece “whilst also maximising the views of Lords Cricket Ground from every room” as Carly Malvani explains.

NW3 Interiors created a colour scheme and furniture collections which reflect traditional tastes alongside modern minimalism to appeal to potential buyers and assist in the swift sale of this property. “Century Court is a residential building based in St John’s Wood, London, the designer adds. For those non-cricket fans amongst our readers, this is the view that we were trying to maximise… With such an excellent view, we needed to create a high-end experience using quality furniture and lovely fabrics. I have used lots of teal/blue throughout the apartment, which looks great with dark woods like walnut. An Alexander sofa from the Sofa and Chair Company, wallpaper from Arte and rugs from Rugs by Ana were crucial furnishings, and were supported by large structural changes including knocking through the wall dividing the kitchen and the main living space.”
